About this event

What to expect

AgentCamp – Gwangju brings the Global AI Community's intensive hands-on workshop series to South Korea, offering developers and AI enthusiasts a full-day immersive experience in building production-ready AI agent systems. Taking place at GIST's AI Graduate School TED Hall on May 9, 2026, this free community event provides practical training in the latest agent development frameworks and multi-agent orchestration patterns.

What You'll Build

This isn't a lecture series — it's a hands-on development sprint. You'll work directly with modern AI agent frameworks to build real systems that solve practical problems. The curriculum covers the complete stack: from foundational agent architecture through to production deployment with enterprise-grade orchestration tools.

Key technical areas include AI Agent Fundamentals (understanding autonomous systems, reasoning loops, and tool use), the Microsoft Agent Framework (MAF) for building structured agent workflows, Multi-Agent Workflows where multiple specialized agents collaborate on complex tasks, Frontend Integration to create user-facing interfaces for your agents, MCP Server Development for building custom agent capabilities, and Agent Orchestration with Aspire for managing distributed agent systems at scale.

Who Should Attend

This workshop welcomes anyone interested in AI and agent-based development — whether you're a professional developer exploring agentic patterns, a student researching autonomous systems, or a founder prototyping AI-powered products. The only requirement is bringing your own laptop. Previous experience with AI or specific frameworks is helpful but not mandatory.

Event Format

Running from 12:00 PM to 6:30 PM, the workshop provides sustained hands-on time to experiment, build, and troubleshoot with support from experienced facilitators. The collaborative environment encourages peer learning and networking with Gwangju's growing AI community.
