What to expect

Build the strategy, controls and risk practices needed for trusted enterprise AI at this full-day alumni workshop in Chiang Mai.

Taking place on Saturday 22 August 2026, from 08:30 to 16:30 (GMT+7), Enterprise AI Governance – Build Trusted AI Organizations is an advanced, onsite technology workshop for Maejo University alumni who are helping organisations adopt AI responsibly and sustainably. The programme focuses on a central leadership challenge: deploying AI is increasingly accessible, but creating measurable value while maintaining trust, transparency, security and ethical oversight requires robust governance.

What the workshop covers

The interactive training will explore the foundations of enterprise AI governance and how they connect to wider organisational goals. Participants will learn about:

  • Defining an AI strategy aligned with business objectives
  • Designing governance frameworks that support transparency and ethical use
  • Applying Security & Privacy by Design to protect organisational data
  • Identifying and managing AI risks proactively throughout the lifecycle
  • Connecting AI initiatives to measurable business value and return on investment

Rather than treating governance as a barrier to innovation, the course positions it as the foundation for becoming a trusted, AI-enabled organisation. Attendees can expect a leadership-oriented blend of strategy, risk management, technology and business considerations.

Speaker and audience

The workshop is led by Kieokawe Singdang, a Maejo University Computer Science alumnus with extensive experience as an IT leader, cybersecurity expert and AI governance practitioner. His credentials include CISSP and CISM, and his career includes former IT Manager and Senior Manager roles at Prudential Life Thailand and YLG Bullion, as well as co-founding Uni Security Company.

The programme is designed for:

  • AI and innovation leaders setting organisational direction
  • Enterprise architects responsible for IT infrastructure
  • Security and risk professionals developing systematic controls
  • Data and analytics leaders concerned with ethical data management
  • IT and business executives involved in enterprise AI projects…
