About this event

What to expect

Learn how to uncover AI vulnerabilities, failure modes and misuse risks in this practical 90-minute online session on 3 November 2026 at 8:00pm Melbourne time.

Hosted by the Global Institute of Artificial Intelligence – Melbourne, this live event moves beyond asking whether an AI system works to examine how it might fail, be manipulated or behave under adversarial and unexpected conditions.

Founder Sandeep Bhalekar will introduce AI red teaming, testing and evaluation through failure scenarios, testing approaches and real-world examples. Topics include:

  • Hallucinations, unsafe outputs, bias and control failures
  • Prompt injection and AI agent hijacking
  • Risks created when agents can access data, call tools and take actions
  • Prioritising tests by system purpose, business impact and potential harm
  • Turning identified weaknesses into guardrails, controls and monitoring
  • Pre-deployment evaluation and continuous testing after launch

The session is designed for AI leaders, CIOs, CTOs, engineers, developers, cybersecurity professionals, Responsible AI practitioners, governance specialists, consultants, and risk and compliance teams. No specialist red-team experience is required. An open Q&A will follow the practical presentation.

This is an online event, with the access link visible to attendees. Attendees must also complete the separate event confirmation form to confirm attendance.
