Build and ship a working Physical AI prototype at HackLab’s intensive 48-hour Robotics x AI Hackathon, held at CIC Berlin on 14–15 November 2026. Designed for people who want to move beyond discussing the future of robotics and start creating it, HackLab 2 brings builders together for two focused days of development, hardware training and experimentation. Participants will form teams, develop innovative robotics and AI projects, and turn ambitious ideas into real prototypes before presenting their work live. Who should attend? The hackathon is aimed at builders, engineers, startup founders and researchers working in or exploring robotics and AI. It is particularly relevant to technically minded participants who want practical experience with Physical AI, opportunities to meet potential collaborators, and direct exposure to others building at the frontier of intelligent hardware. The organisers highlight several reasons to take part: - Collaborate with robotics and AI talent and industry leaders - Build and showcase a cutting-edge robotics solution - Compete for more than €10,000 in cash, hardware and other prizes - Explore potential job and internship opportunities - Receive free credits from participating technology providers for use during the hackathon - Meet founders, researchers and engineers shaping the future of robotics Partners, co-hosts, technology providers and the precise prize categories are still to be announced. Updates will be shared through HackLab’s LinkedIn page. Hackathon schedule The in-person programme takes place at CIC Berlin, Lohmühlenstraße 65, in Berlin. Saturday, 14 November begins with doors, registration and breakfast at 09:00, followed by the opening ceremony at 09:30. Hacking starts at 11:00, with lunch at 13:00 and dinner at 19:00. Teams can continue building overnight. Sunday, 15 November starts with breakfast at 08:00 and lunch at 13:30. Final submissions are due at 17:45, immediately followed by judging at 18:00. The weekend concludes at 19:00 with live pitches and an award ceremony. Places are described as highly limited, and the current Eventbrite listing shows the event as sold out. Hosted by Software & Support Media GmbH

AI Engineering Summit brings five days of hands-on enterprise AI training to the Maritim Pro Arte Berlin from 16–20 November 2026. Designed for teams moving beyond AI experiments, this inaugural event explores how to integrate coding agents, AI assistants and agentic workflows into real software delivery processes. Held in Berlin, the summit combines practical instruction with peer learning and problem-solving. Its programme includes five AI engineering tracks, more than 15 workshops, two deep-dive bootcamps and a dedicated Lab Day. Most training sessions feature hands-on exercises, best practices and live demonstrations rather than relying on theory alone. What the programme covers The five tracks address the technical and organisational challenges involved in adopting AI across enterprise engineering: - AI Software Engineering: Integrating coding agents and assistants into development, testing, code review and delivery with clear processes and standards. - Quality, Testing & AI Code Review: Using AI to support automated testing, intelligent reviews and higher software quality. - Enterprise AI Governance & Security: Establishing rules for data protection, intellectual property, compliance and controlled AI use across complex environments. - Legacy Modernisation with AI: Evolving established systems through gradual, traceable changes rather than a high-risk “big bang” rewrite. - Developer Experience & AI Toolchains: Avoiding tool sprawl and building a coherent AI toolchain for engineering teams. The Lab Day is a distinctive part of the format. Attendees work alongside experts and other software teams on genuine challenges drawn from day-to-day engineering. The emphasis is on developing concrete solutions, exchanging experience and transferring the lessons directly into participants’ own development organisations. Who should attend? This summit is aimed at software engineers, software architects, Tech Leads, Platform Engineers, Developer Experience teams, Engineering Managers and technical decision-makers. It is particularly relevant for organisations that already use or evaluate AI tools but now need to introduce them in a structured, secure and sustainable way. Explore AI-driven software development with IBM Bob at a free, hands-on hybrid coding watch party in Berlin and online on 1 December 2026. This final event in IBM’s hybrid series is designed for practitioners who want to see how an AI-powered development partner fits into real software workflows. Rather than passively watching a webinar, attendees will follow live sessions alongside other creators, discuss what they are seeing, react in real time and learn as a community. What to expect IBM Bob is designed to help people ideate, build, modernise and ship code faster. The watch party will explore how it can support work across the software development lifecycle, from early ideas and legacy application modernisation through to secure, full-stack, enterprise-ready development. The event combines hands-on learning with a community-first format. Its three tracks cater to different levels of experience: - Beginner sessions for people taking their first steps with AI-assisted development - Intermediate material for attendees already familiar with software or AI workflows - Expert content for experienced engineering, R&D and operations practitioners IBM Bob is intended not only for developers but also for domain users without coding experience, as well as R&D and Ops teams. That makes this event relevant to a broad mix of attendees: no-code and low-code builders, software engineers, full-stack developers, DevOps professionals, technical teams working with legacy systems, and anyone curious about the direction of AI-powered software engineering. Topics covered by the wider series range from hackathons to technical deep dives, with an emphasis on best-practice AI development workflows and peer learning. A detailed agenda for this final watch party is still to be announced. Attend in Berlin or online The event runs on Tuesday 1 December 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM CET.
