About this event

What to expect

Explore physical AI, computer vision and robot sensor data through expert lightning talks and a hands-on FiftyOne workshop in Berlin.

Taking place on Saturday 26 September 2026, from 1:30pm to 4:30pm CEST, this in-person meetup brings the local AI community to MotionLab.Berlin, Bouchéstraße 12/Halle 20, 12435 Berlin. Co-presented by Nebius and Voxel51, the afternoon combines concise talks with practical work on the datasets and vision models behind physical AI systems.

What to expect

The event opens in a meetup format, with lightning talks from local speakers working across AI, machine learning and computer vision. These short sessions offer a window into the ideas and challenges being explored by practitioners in Berlin before the programme moves into a hands-on workshop.

During the workshop, attendees will use FiftyOne to explore how physical AI applications are built and improved with real-world data. The session covers:

  • Curating robotics and sensor datasets
  • Annotating and inspecting samples
  • Evaluating computer vision models on real-world data
  • Developing more effective workflows for physical AI applications

FiftyOne is designed to support computer vision teams across data annotation, dataset curation and model evaluation. Attendees who want additional technical context can explore the FiftyOne documentation before the event, although no advance preparation is specified.

Who should attend?

This meetup is particularly relevant to people working with,or curious about, physical AI, robotics, machine learning, computer vision and sensor data. It offers a useful mix for engineers and technical practitioners who want practical exposure to FiftyOne, as well as AI community members who want to hear from local speakers and understand how vision models are evaluated beyond controlled datasets.

The blend of lightning talks and guided, hands-on work makes the event suitable for attendees who value both peer learning and direct experimentation. Bring a laptop if you would like to follow along during the workshop. As this is an in-person session with limited capacity, early booking is recommended.
