About this event

What to expect

This online meetup on 15 October 2026 explores how teams test, deploy and architect production AI, machine learning and computer vision systems.

Running 16:00–18:00 UTC (listed by the organiser as 9:00–11:00 AM PST), the programme features four expert-led technical talks:

  • Testing AI systems in production, Jayakumar Ramalingam, Staff Software Engineer and Cloud Architect at SiriusXM, will cover data-quality checks, drift detection, model monitoring, online/offline metric comparison and rollback analysis.
  • Tiering computer vision deployments, Ajaykumaar Sivacoumare will present a framework for deciding whether models should run on-device, at the edge or in the cloud, accounting for latency, cost, connectivity and update cadence.
  • Lightweight volumetric tumour detection, Talha Waqas will introduce YOLO-PVC, which turns slice-wise 2D detections from liver MRI data into coherent 3D bounding boxes without memory-intensive 3D networks.
  • The two-loop architecture for voice AI, Abhinav Tushar will explain how separating real-time conversation from asynchronous reasoning can support intelligent voice experiences without compromising responsiveness.

Hosted by the Amsterdam AI Machine Learning and Computer Vision Meetup, this virtual network event is aimed at ML engineers, computer vision practitioners, researchers, architects and technical teams working with production AI. The online joining link is visible to attendees, who can also use the event chat to connect before the session.
