Dublin
Hosted by Give(a)Go
Dublin AI Week opens on Friday 2 October 2026 with an evening of networking, food and drinks for the city’s AI builders, founders and teams. Start Dublin AI Week with the community Taking place from 6:00pm to 10:00pm in Dublin 8, this opening night is the social launch of a city-wide, community-led programme dedicated to practical AI. It is a chance to meet the people building, researching and applying AI across Dublin before a full week of sessions begins. Rather than a formal conference or technical workshop, the evening has a relaxed, conversational format. Expect networking, introductions, food and drinks, along with a few announcements about the events and communities involved in Dublin AI Week. Attendees will also get an early look at some of the people and activities shaping the programme running from 2 to 9 October. The wider week will bring together companies, independent communities and builders for: - Practical AI sessions and build days - Product and technology demonstrations - Research-focused conversations - Creative events exploring new uses of AI - Opportunities to connect with Dublin’s technical and startup communities Who should attend? The event welcomes builders, founders, researchers, students, operators, designers and AI teams from across the city. It should suit both people already working directly with AI and those looking to understand the local ecosystem, find collaborators or discover practical events to attend during the rest of the week. No specific level of technical experience is stated, and the emphasis on informal conversation makes this an accessible entry point to the programme. Community-led from the outset The opening night is presented by Give(a)Go, one of Ireland’s largest builder communities. Give(a)Go brings together more than 2,500 engineers, founders and product people through hands-on events centred on learning by creating working prototypes. The page also highlights Baseline, an independent community and fund for early-stage founders in Ireland. Baseline writes €100K first cheques to technical founders and is backed entirely by private investors, adding particular relevance for founders seeking early support and connections.… Register for this event
