London · Science Museum (Group Entrance), Exhibition Road, South Kensington, London SW7 2DD
Hosted by Vibe Coding Collective
Experience creative AI-powered coding in one of London's most iconic venues. This hands-on event brings together artists, musicians, designers, and curious beginners to explore AI as a tool for creative expression at the Science Museum's Smith Centre. Whether you're interested in building AI-powered musical instruments, storytelling experiments, generative artwork, or poetic web experiences, you'll have access to cutting-edge tools and a supportive community to bring your ideas to life. The evening features free access to ElevenLabs' music and audio generation tools, alongside popular AI coding platforms like ChatGPT, Claude, Lovable, v0, Cursor, and Replit. No prior coding experience is required — the organisers provide starter prompts, example projects, and tool guidance to help complete beginners get building quickly. What to Expect You'll work in small collaborative teams of 3–4 people, tackling creative challenges together. After a keynote speaker and educational introduction, teams will form around the evening's creative prompt and dive into two focused building sessions. The format encourages experimentation over perfection — this is about exploring what's possible when you put AI tools into creative hands. The schedule includes plenty of social time with snacks and drinks during the mid-evening break, optional demonstrations where teams can showcase their creations, and networking opportunities to connect with fellow creators. The Smith Centre at the Science Museum provides a fully accessible venue (including wheelchair access and step-free entry) in the heart of South Kensington. Who Should Attend This event welcomes artists, musicians, designers, creative coders, and absolute beginners who want to understand AI better while building something new. If you're curious about the intersection of creativity and technology, enjoy making things in a friendly environment, or simply want to see what's possible with modern AI tools, this is your opportunity. Bring your laptop, headphones, a valid photo ID (this is an 18+ event), and an open mind. The Vibe Coding Collective creates a welcoming atmosphere where
