Sensible Systems is a UK studio, based in Norwich, that builds software people actually use and teaches teams to build their own. Most of our clients are in the US. We do three things. We replace the spreadsheets, inboxes and half-used subscriptions a business runs on with one secure internal system, with your data migrated in and the busywork automated. We design and build websites, apps and SaaS products, with documentation and a proper handover. And we run hands-on workshops that turn the loosely technical people on your team into the ones who build and maintain the internal tools. A lot of software gets paid for, delivered and never used, because the people it was built for never understood it. So every build comes with documentation and training, runs in accounts you own, and avoids anything that locks you in. We aim to be the last developers you'll ever hire. Notable Project

Claw is a subscription SaaS for UK planning professionals that we designed, built and launched. An ingestion pipeline pulls the Planning Inspectorate's PDF appeal decisions, extracts the text and keeps a search index of 169,000+ decisions current. Full-text search with filters for decision type, local authority and date returns results in under a second, with the original letter open alongside. The AI research tools are grounded in each document: ask a question in plain English and the answer comes from that letter's text, not the model's general knowledge. Team accounts, shared bookmarks and subscription billing make it a complete commercial product. clawapp.co.uk
