What to expect

A free, online two-day summit on 9–10 September 2026 for optimizers, growth professionals and UXers exploring AI’s impact on experimentation.

Where AI meets human judgement

The Women in Experimentation Summit returns for its third edition with a timely question: which difficult challenges are still worth applying our human intelligence to? Created for people thinking seriously about their relevance in 2027, the summit examines how AI is changing experimentation, and where automation, algorithms and inexpensive testing can introduce new risks.

Presented by Convert.com and the Women in Experimentation community, the event features 10 talks selected by three judges from 121 global applications. The team says it invested almost 100 hours in finding sessions it would pay to watch, prioritising ideas that had not been covered by other conferences in 2026.

What’s on the agenda

The published programme for 9 September includes:

  • Victoria Bakos , The Claude UX Factory Is Real: Break the Cycle of Sameness in AI Designs, exploring the design implications of Claude
  • Lauren Wong , The Algorithm Can't Lick a Stamp
  • Ester Serra , The Experimentation That Destroys Value: When Optimizing One Metric Breaks Another
  • Matt Policastro , Confidently Wrong: What Happens When AI Makes Experimentation (Almost) Free?
  • A community showcase covering the art of job applications in 2026, Ikigai and monetising purpose
  • Julie van der Hoop, PhD , Experimental Design Lessons from Marine Biology

This combination brings together AI, UX, growth, metric selection, experimental design and career development rather than treating experimentation as a purely technical discipline.

Format and audience

The summit takes place online across Wednesday 9 and Thursday 10 September 2026, with proceedings beginning at 13:30 BST on both days. The listing describes 4 hours and 30 minutes of online programming, with the first day scheduled to finish at 18:00 BST.…
