What to expect

A three-hour online conference on 23 September 2026 introduces Proof-of-Control, an open verification standard for secure, autonomous AI agents.

As autonomous, non-deterministic agents take responsibility for critical workflows, organisations need stronger evidence that these systems operate within their intended controls. Who’s Watching the Agents? explores the shift from claims-based trust to openly verifiable execution, and presents Proof-of-Control as a proposed open standard for the agentic era.

Hosted by LFDT Thailand with Advanced AI Society, the conference will introduce Proof-of-Control and its role as the newest community lab at LF Decentralized Trust. The focus is on how open verification standards could help enterprises, public institutions and the wider open-source community establish confidence in increasingly autonomous AI systems.

What the conference will cover

The programme centres on the security, governance and infrastructure questions created by agentic AI, including:

  • Why conventional, claims-based approaches to trust become less effective when AI agents behave non-deterministically
  • The case for openly verifiable execution across critical enterprise workflows
  • Proof-of-Control as an open verification standard
  • The relationship between AI, blockchain, decentralised systems and open standards
  • The potential relevance of verification to enterprise security, insurance and policymaking
  • How open-source maintainers and standards communities can contribute to trustworthy agent infrastructure

Rather than focusing on a single commercial platform, this event approaches AI agent assurance as an open ecosystem challenge. That makes it particularly relevant to enterprise security leaders, open-source maintainers, insurers and policymakers, as well as technologists working with artificial intelligence, decentralised applications, Hyperledger or blockchain systems. No specific experience level or technical prerequisites are stated.
