What to expect

Explore how to move from generative AI experiments to meaningful business adoption at this interactive Leeds Digital Festival breakfast on 23 September 2026.

Taking place in Leeds from 8:00am on Wednesday 23 September, this session from The Nimble Hub brings together industry partners, guest speakers and technology leaders to examine a pressing question: how can organisations integrate AI into everyday operations and build a cohesive Human-Digital workforce?

The discussion moves beyond generative AI hype and isolated prompting. Instead, it offers a practical, systems-level view of the technology, information and organisational changes required for digital agents to work safely and effectively alongside human teams.

What the session will cover

The programme focuses on three connected foundations of a new AI operating model:

  • Data foundations: how semantic layers and ontologies can help organisations evolve their infrastructure and make business data genuinely agent-ready.
  • Engineered context: why digital agents need specific business context to understand their role, execute tasks accurately and operate within appropriate boundaries.
  • Cultural adaptation: how to redesign workflows and prepare people to interface with, manage and build trust in their new digital colleagues.

Rather than treating data, AI tooling and change management as separate initiatives, the session explores why they must evolve together. Attendees can expect a framework for thinking through AI adoption across infrastructure, workflow design and workforce readiness, helping them progress from experimentation towards a functioning operating model.

Who should attend?

This breakfast is designed for senior leaders and practitioners responsible for AI strategy, technology architecture, organisational transformation or delivery, including:

  • CIOs, CTOs and Heads of Data & AI
  • Digital, technology and engineering leaders
  • Enterprise architects
  • Transformation and change leaders
  • Product and delivery leaders
  • Innovation leaders
  • Business leaders exploring AI adoption

The format is interactive, making it particularly relevant for people who want to compare ideas, experiences and practical insights with peers rather than simply hear a high-level presentation.…
