What to expect

Explore context-driven AI agents and enterprise AI red teaming at this free LDPaC meetup in Leeds on 29 September 2026, hosted at Infinity Works.

Presented by Leeds Data Platform & Cloud in conjunction with Leeds Digital Festival, this in-person evening brings together two practical talks on building capable agentic systems and finding security weaknesses before attackers do. It takes place from 6:00pm to 8:30pm BST at Infinity Works, part of Accenture, 78 Wellington Street, Leeds.

Context-driven AI agents

Shubhangi Goyal will examine how AI agents use dynamic context to complete complex tasks and create real-world value. Rather than treating an agent as a single prompt interaction, the session places prompt engineering within a larger system and explores:

  • Context engineering and the management of memory, tools and tasks
  • Agent architecture, LLMs and feedback loops
  • Adaptive agent behaviour
  • A real-world use case and common deployment pitfalls

This talk offers a useful systems-level view for anyone interested in moving from basic generative AI interactions towards agents that can respond to changing information and workflows.

Red Team Redemption

In the second talk, James Bentley asks how teams can know whether generative AI will behave safely when confronted by malicious, unexpected or unusually creative users. He will introduce AI red teaming, the practice of thinking like an attacker to expose vulnerabilities before a system reaches production.

Drawing inspiration from real-world engagements, the session will cover common attacks and adversarial behaviours, plus ways to combine open-source tools including Garak and PyRIT into a repeatable testing framework. James will also explain how findings map to industry standards, discuss practical mitigations, and consider the security capabilities available within Databricks. Whether you are deploying a first chatbot or operating AI at enterprise scale, the aim is to help you understand how AI systems fail and where security gaps may exist.
