What to expect

Explore how AI is reshaping go-to-market work at this practical Clay community event in Lagos on 29 August 2026. Built for people who want to keep pace with the latest GTM workflows, this four-hour session focuses on what has changed, what matters now and how local operators are putting new tools into practice.

Presented by Clay Clubs and hosted by Siya Verma, Omesiri Kabaide, Sandra Uche and Natasha Odeyemi, the event combines community showcases, live building, interactive learning and Q&A. Rather than dwelling on how quickly the field is moving, the programme is designed to help attendees redirect their energy towards useful skills and practical ideas they can apply to their GTM careers.

What you’ll learn

Community members will demonstrate real workflows they have built in 2026 to stay ahead, followed by a live build using Clay’s CLI for agentic workflows. Topics include:

  • Using the Clay CLI to create agentic workflows
  • How GTM engineers are building with Claude Code
  • Building CRM health, data enrichment and signal-monitoring workflows in Clay
  • Mapping local business owners through Google Maps scraping and ideal customer profile prompts
  • Expanding email-scraping coverage with Claude Code, Local Pipe and other scraping tools

The session is relevant whether you already build in Clay or are beginning to explore what AI can do for your go-to-market motion. GTM engineers, growth professionals, RevOps practitioners and curious operators can compare approaches, ask detailed questions and meet other builders working on similar challenges.

Format and agenda

The event runs from 1:00pm to 5:00pm GMT+1. Arrivals, check-in and Clay swag begin at 1:00pm, followed by an icebreaker and introductions. Three concise community showcases each pair a 10-minute demonstration with five minutes of Q&A. After a food and drink break, the group will move into a 30-minute Clay CLI live build, followed by further food, discussion and time for photos and departures.

The atmosphere is deliberately interactive: expect demos and practical conversation rather than a passive lecture. Pizza, other food and drinks will be provided. Attendees will also receive free credits from the Clay team, while Clay merchandise will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.…
