Explore AI-powered software development with IBM Bob at a free hybrid coding watch party in Frankfurt and online on 15 October 2026. Taking place from 4:00pm to 8:00pm CEST, this practitioner-focused event offers a hands-on look at IBM Bob, an AI-powered development partner designed to help people ideate, build, modernise and ship software faster. Attend in person at One, Brüsseler Str. 1–3 in Frankfurt, or participate remotely through the online attendee link. Learn, experiment and discuss together This is more than a conventional webinar. The Coding Watch Party format brings creators together to follow live sessions, discuss what they are seeing, react in real time and learn from one another. Frankfurt’s gathering runs simultaneously with watch parties in Berlin, Cologne, Ehningen, Vienna and Zurich, as well as the remote event. The programme is designed around practical AI-driven development workflows, with separate tracks for beginners, intermediate participants and experts. Although the detailed agenda is still to be announced, the wider series spans hands-on sessions, hackathon-style activity and deeper technical exploration. Topics and use cases covered by the series include: - Moving from early-stage ideation into software development - Using AI across the software development lifecycle - Modernising legacy applications - Supporting secure, full-stack, enterprise-ready development - Exploring best practices for AI-assisted engineering workflows - Connecting development, R&D, operations and domain expertise Who should attend? The event welcomes developers, operations professionals, R&D teams and domain experts. You do not need to arrive with the same background as everyone else: IBM Bob is intended to support domain users without coding experience as well as experienced technical practitioners. The level-based tracks should help newcomers build confidence while giving established engineers and DevOps professionals room to investigate more advanced workflows.… Register for this event
