About this event

What to expect

Speed, isolation, and AI agents that can actually execute. This intensive one-day HackSprint brings Dublin's technical builders together to explore what becomes possible when you give AI agents access to ultra-fast sandboxed compute environments that spin up in under 90 milliseconds.

What Makes This Different

Every AI agent that writes code needs somewhere safe to run it — an isolated computer environment that launches instantly and disappears just as fast. Until recently, provisioning these environments took minutes. Daytona does it in under 90ms, fundamentally changing what's architecturally possible for agentic systems. This is the infrastructure powering tools like Claude Code, Codex, and serious production agent deployments.

You'll design and build AI agents that demonstrate sharp reasoning, independent decision-making, and safe execution in isolated sandbox environments. Whether you're exploring self-evolving agents that spawn hundreds of variants in parallel, building research pipelines that run isolated experiments simultaneously, or creating evolutionary fine-tuning labs that automatically rank and respawn better-performing models — you'll have the compute infrastructure to make it real.

What You'll Build

Project ideas include:

  • Self-Evolving Agent Systems: Spawn hundreds of agent variants in parallel, mutate prompts/tooling/memory, benchmark performance using Darwinian selection for reasoning systems
  • Parallel Coding Agents: Full codebase context with pre-loaded dependencies, running simultaneous experiments with different parameters
  • Research Pipelines: Isolated environments per experiment running in parallel without cross-contamination
  • Evolutionary Fine-Tuning Labs: Hundreds of fine-tuning jobs with varied hyperparameters, automatically ranking and respawning top performers

Every participant receives Daytona credits to experiment with, and the top three teams earn thousands of dollars in compute credits to take their projects further.

Schedule

The day runs from 11:00 AM to 5:30 PM at Baseline in Dublin:

  • 11:00 AM — Doors open
  • 11:30 AM — Introduction to Daytona and sandbox primitives
  • 12:00 PM — Building begins
  • 1:00 PM — Lunch provided
  • 4:45 PM — Live demos and judging
  • 5:30 PM — Awards and wrap

Bring your laptop, an idea you've been wanting to explore, and prepare for a focused day of hands-on building.
