What to expect

The Back to School AI Summit 2026 is a free, two-day online conference helping educators turn AI curiosity into practical classroom confidence on 8–9 September.

Designed for educators shaping the next phase of teaching and learning, the summit explores how artificial intelligence is changing classrooms, curricula and the future of education. The programme combines big-picture thinking with practical classroom applications, giving attendees ideas and techniques they can take into the new academic year.

What to expect

Across 22 live sessions, the programme will feature more than 30 speakers and a varied mix of:

  • Keynotes on education and artificial intelligence
  • Practical workshops focused on classroom use
  • Hands-on labs for active learning
  • Educator-built tools and real-world applications
  • Partner spotlights
  • Honest conversations about AI in education
  • Live networking with educators around the world

The full schedule is already available, with session times automatically displayed in each attendee’s local time. You can explore the programme before deciding which talks, workshops and labs to prioritise.

Built for a global education community

This is an online event for educators who want to move beyond simply following the AI conversation and start developing greater confidence around its role in learning. Its combination of keynotes, practical sessions and hands-on activities makes it relevant to attendees exploring AI as well as those already experimenting with it in their work.

The summit’s reach is genuinely international. Its 2025 edition attracted 3,600+ registered educators from 146 countries, including significant communities from the USA, UK, Canada, UAE and India. The broadcast recorded 5,761 live viewers and more than 23,900 YouTube impressions. Organisers expect more than 2,000 educators to participate in 2026, creating opportunities to compare approaches and connect across education systems.

Free, live and accessible online

The conference runs live online on Tuesday 8 and Wednesday 9 September 2026. Attendance is free, and recordings are included, so registered participants can revisit useful sessions or catch material they cannot watch live. The organisers also state that registration comes with no spam.…
