RISE AI Latin America Summit brings academia, industry and government to Santiago on 20–21 October 2026 to advance responsible AI across the region. These principles provide a practical basis for discussing innovation, governance and institutional change in a region where questions of access, sustainability and development are already urgent realities. Themes and perspectives The summit will convene contributors from universities, companies and public institutions across three highlighted tracks: - Education: skills development and institutional transformation - Health & Biotech: innovation spanning health and engineering - Business: AI adoption and governance models The wider context includes Latin America’s research capabilities, entrepreneurial momentum and public-sector demand.
