Kyiv AI Day 2026

Kyiv · Premier Hotel Rus

Hosted by LemBS (Lemberg Tech Business School)

Kyiv AI Day 2026 brings 40+ Ukrainian and international practitioners to Kyiv for a one-day, four-track conference on applied AI, data science and machine learning. Taking place on Saturday, 31 October 2026 from 10:00 at Premier Hotel Rus, this large offline gathering is designed as a meeting point for Ukraine’s Data Science community. Around 700 people working with data are expected to attend, creating opportunities to learn from real projects, compare technical approaches and exchange experience with specialists from Ukraine and abroad. Four conference tracks The programme runs across four parallel streams: - Data Science Solutions , practical examples of using data science and machine learning to solve business problems. The organisers aim to showcase notable AI cases from Ukraine, Europe, North America and China, with an emphasis on real-world projects and current challenges. - Machine Learning , the technical track, covering frameworks, cloud providers and mathematics alongside subjects such as BERT, Transformers and MLOps. - AI Business , a business-focused look at AI-first companies and startups, the AI strategies used by leading Ukrainian companies, and how teams can sell AI solutions to customers. - AI in Miltech , a dedicated stream focused on artificial intelligence in military technology. With more than 40 Ukrainian and leading international practitioners appearing across the day, attendees can choose sessions aligned with their technical interests, commercial priorities or sector focus. Who should attend? Kyiv AI Day is built for data scientists and others working with data, as well as machine learning specialists, AI startup teams, technology leaders and business professionals exploring how artificial intelligence can create practical value. The mix of applied case studies, deeply technical material and commercial strategy makes the conference relevant to both hands-on practitioners and decision-makers. Organised by LemBS (Lemberg Tech Business School), the conference aims to spread modern approaches, algorithms and knowledge among Ukrainian data scientists. It also provides a platform for specialists from Ukraine and around the world to share experience and strengthen the country’s Data Science community.… Register for this event

Learn how raw data becomes a machine learning prediction in this practical, beginner-friendly online Pie & AI session from the Kyiv community. Hosted by the Pie & AI by DeepLearning.AI community, From Data to Prediction takes place online on 16 September 2026, from 16:00 to 17:15. The 75-minute session will be delivered in Ukrainian and is open to learners of all levels, with the material specifically designed to be accessible to beginners. What you’ll learn The meetup follows a complete machine learning workflow rather than discussing AI only in abstract terms. You’ll see how to move from data preparation to a trained model, then examine what its output actually means. Topics include: - How machine learning changes the traditional relationship between data, rules and outcomes - A beginner-friendly explanation of how neural networks learn patterns - Preparing financial market data and selecting useful features - Defining inputs, targets, training data and test data - Building, training and evaluating a simple neural network with Python and TensorFlow/Keras - Visualising predictions and assessing model performance - Using SQL and Google Cloud BigQuery ML as an alternative route to predictive analytics - Understanding data quality, overfitting, model limitations and responsible interpretation Financial market data provides the educational case study, helping make the concepts concrete without presenting the model as investment advice or claiming that future market prices can be predicted reliably. Session format The event combines concise explanations with a practical demonstration. After a welcome and introduction, the session progresses from traditional programming to machine learning, covers neural network fundamentals, and turns financial data into a defined ML problem. The central demo shows a TensorFlow/Keras model being built, trained and evaluated, followed by a shorter BigQuery ML comparison. The final section asks an essential question: what does a prediction actually tell us? An open discussion and Q&A will give attendees the opportunity to explore model performance, data limitations and practical applications. Speaker and community… Register for this event

Hosted by Fwdays (Fwdays Academy)

Learn to diagnose production incidents faster in this three-session online crash course on AI-native observability, starting 31 August 2026 at 18:30 EEST. When a production system fails, disconnected monitoring and logging tools can turn root-cause analysis into hours of guesswork. Crash Course: AI-Native Observability from Fwdays Academy presents Logs, Metrics, Distributed Tracing and Error Tracking as one coherent system, then explores how AI can help teams analyse incidents, identify anomalies and reach the root cause more quickly. What the course covers Across three online sessions of approximately two hours each, participants will work towards a practical, joined-up understanding of modern observability. The course focuses on: - Connecting Logs, Metrics, Tracing and Error Tracking rather than treating them as isolated disciplines - Finding root causes in complex distributed systems - Applying AI to incident analysis and anomaly detection - Designing an observability strategy for a team - Reducing mean time to resolution (MTTR) with a repeatable incident-response checklist The intended outcome is not simply familiarity with individual monitoring signals. Participants should leave with a clearer model for how those signals work together, plus a strategy grounded in real experience from MacPaw and a checklist they can use when production incidents occur. Mentor and format The course is led by Йожеф Гісем, a Solution Architect at MacPaw with more than 10 years of experience. He has spoken at Fwdays, DOU and on YouTube, and teaches on the MacPaw Internship educational programme. His perspective gives the course a practical emphasis on the realities of operating and debugging distributed software. This online format is suited to software engineers, solution architects, DevOps and platform practitioners, SREs, technical leads, and teams responsible for production reliability. It will be especially relevant to people who already encounter logs and monitoring in their work but want a more systematic approach to incident investigation. The event is associated with the Fwdays community in Kyiv, while all three sessions take place online.… Register for this event

AI Workshop for Teams

Kyiv · Kyiv-Mohyla Business School (KMBS), Kyiv, Ukraine

Hosted by Kyiv-Mohyla Business School (KMBS)

Transform your team's AI capabilities from zero to functioning prototype in just five weeks with this intensive accelerator program from Kyiv-Mohyla Business School (KMBS) and Reactor. Starting July 1–2 with a collaborative learning day in Kyiv, this program is designed for C-level executives and their teams who want to build internal AI competencies rather than outsource innovation to external vendors. Why This Program Stands Out Unlike traditional AI training that focuses on theory, this accelerator takes your team through the complete cycle from idea generation to working prototype. You'll learn by doing, developing real AI agents using OpenWebUI and Slack environments with weekly facilitation. The program combines the best elements of educational courses and startup accelerators, giving you both the methodological foundation and hands-on technical experience needed to implement AI solutions. What You'll Learn The journey begins with a two-day intensive at KMBS covering corporate innovation methodologies (Design Thinking and Discovery-Driven Planning), the AI work cycle, principles of working with Large Language Models (LLMs), and the complete technology stack for corporate AI environments. You'll then move into three distinct sprints: Sprint 1 (Weeks 1-2): Experimentation and ideation phase where teams explore AI tools, build an idea bank, and define key assumptions for their chosen concepts. The first online pit stop requires teams to present and defend their ideas to the workshop's technical team. Sprint 2 (Weeks 2-3): Development and testing of initial AI agents. Teams learn prompt engineering, create knowledge bases, and develop their first working agents using real company data. Sprint 3 (Weeks 4-5): Full prototype implementation with iterative testing, feedback gathering, and refinement of prompts and agent interactions. Who Should Attend This program targets C-level executives and their teams (minimum 3 participants) who see AI as a critical growth component, want to minimize vendor dependence, and are ready to invest in innovation experiments. Ideal for leaders who view uncertainty and complexity as opportunities rather than obstacles, and who want their teams to develop independent AI capabilities. What Your Team Takes Home Beyond the intensive learning experience, teams leave with tangible assets: a comprehensive idea bank of AI concepts, system AI-ag
